De’vo vom Schattenreich is an award-winning visionary artist, card designer, and global icon in the worlds of card manipulation and visual art. He helped pioneer the artform of pure card manipulation, separating it from traditional magic and elevating it into a standalone visual performance discipline. Known for pushing creative boundaries, De’vo created some of the most difficult card moves in existence — including the Cobra Cut and Cradle to Grave — performed by only a handful of artists worldwide. His work blends bold expression with elite precision, now evolving from live performance into powerful fine art. De’vo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Art Institute of Colorado and creates his own original visual art, along with collaborations with other artists. As the founder of Handlordz, he has produced over 100 original products that have sold around the globe — including the iconic Chrome Kings and Falcons decks, which have gone viral with over 200 million views and featured on Dude Perfect, Stan Lee’s Superhumans, and international TV. His cards even fooled Penn and Teller in their "Fool Us" television show with Rick Smith Jr. and Rokas. De'vo also created the worlds first Comic Series printed on playing cards which was featured on the cover of Strange Aeons Magazine. De'vo's hands have appeared in global commercials including Nokia, Eplus, MTV and EA Sports. De'vo's groundbreaking work earned him a feature in the 2007 Guinness World Records book, an Emmy Award for Cinematography and Lighting, two Icon Awards, and has won prestigious industry awards including Deck of the Year and the Industry Standard Gold Leaf Award. De'vo has also published 10 Instructional DVDs, two books, written for four magazines, and taught magicians around the world through best-selling products on major magic platforms and at international seminars.
